about us

ZIP-UP PROJECT is a Non-Governmental Organization ( NGO) OPERATING IN Ghana. The organization believes in breaking the barriers of society, especially those confronting persons with disabilities in Ghana and beyond. The organization is partnering with Philanthropy Ghana to support women in philanthropy, and strengthen the groups in Ghana. Over the years, there have been various organized organizations and networks within the philanthropy space that has fostered and facilitated the growth and impact of various organizations. There are a lot of women who lead philanthropy organizations that are doing great work whilst others struggle to even complete a single project Hence the need for an organized secretariat that will bring almost all the women to lead organizations together to Forster our strength. Women in philanthropy Network is a secretariat that seeks to build a strong network system that builds a strong bond among women who lead non-profit organizations. The network aims at

• Mobilizing funds to assist associate members with their project

• Organizing conferences that will suit the needs of members

• Organize leadership training for its members to suit the status quo

• Have and share sponsorship ideas

• Network within and without the country

The above list is what associate members stand to benefit. However, the secretariat will also embark on its own project. These projects however will not interfere with the assistance associate members will receive to champion their course. These projects will be categorized into two long and short-term projects.
